My name is Dmitry, and I've been drawing for as long as I can remember. Life took me through a different career for a while, but illustration was always there, for myself, for people close to me. About 14 years ago I started taking on commercial work, and 7 years ago I made it official and went full time.
I'm based in Israel and work with clients worldwide, mostly on children's books, biblical illustration, and character design.
Over these 14 years I've built up more than 60 book projects from authors all over the world, from illustrated picture books to biblical story series, all as illustrator. Some of them are on Amazon, and I still find it a little surreal to see them there with my name on the cover.
My biggest influences are classic Disney and the masters of expressive line work. I try to bring that same sense of warmth and personality into every project. Characters that feel alive, scenes that tell a story even before you read a word.
I'm always open to new projects. Every project brings new skills, new knowledge, new friends, new emotions and new experiences. And honestly, that's what makes this whole thing so good.
